Sexual Harassment Prevention Committee (SHP)

At National College of IT, Muktsar, we uphold the highest standards of safety and respect, ensuring that all students, faculty, and staff work in an environment free from any form of sexual harassment. The Sexual Harassment Prevention Committee (SHP) has been established in line with UGC, AICTE, NAAC, MRSPTU guidelines and the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013.

Committee Objectives

✔ Prevention and Awareness: Organizing gender sensitization workshops and awareness programs.
✔ Complaint Redressal: A confidential platform to file complaints and address them legally.
✔ Fair Inquiry Process: Ensuring transparency, fairness, and protection for all parties.
✔ Disciplinary Action: Ensuring strict action based on the inquiry findings.
