The NSS Unit at National College of IT organized a Republic Day celebration to honor the spirit of patriotism and national pride. The event aimed to instill a sense of unity, responsibility, and respect for the nation's values among students and faculty members.
The celebration began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem as a tribute to the country.
Students and faculty members took a pledge to uphold the values of the Indian Constitution, promoting unity, integrity, and social responsibility.
A creative poster-making activity was conducted, where students expressed their patriotism and showcased themes related to India’s progress, freedom fighters, and national development.
The event witnessed active participation from 100 students, along with NSS volunteers, faculty members, and staff. Their enthusiasm reflected a deep sense of patriotism and commitment to national service.
The event was successfully led by NSS Coordinator, Ms. Sukhwinder, under whose guidance all activities were well-organized and executed. Faculty coordinators and NSS volunteers also contributed to the smooth execution of the event.
The Republic Day celebration fostered a spirit of patriotism and unity among students. Participants actively engaged in discussions on national values and pledged to contribute positively to society. The event successfully reinforced the importance of civic responsibility and national pride.
