Objective
To enhance understanding of mutual funds, investment strategies, and market dynamics among faculty members, enabling them to share this knowledge effectively with students.
Event Overview
On 24th April 2025, the IQAC Coordinator, Ms. Neha Dabra, and Principal Shubam Thathi from National College of Information Technology (NCIT), along with other faculty members, participated in an online seminar on Mutual Funds organized by the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM).
Both Ms. Dabra and Principal Thathi successfully completed the seminar and received certification. The sessions covered key topics such as:
- Fundamentals of mutual funds
- Risk assessment and management
- Portfolio construction and analysis
- Personal financial planning using mutual funds
Knowledge Sharing
Following the seminar, Ms. Neha Dabra and Principal Shubam Thathi actively shared the acquired knowledge with students and fellow faculty members through interactive sessions and discussions. This initiative has contributed to increasing financial literacy and awareness about investment options within the college community.
