To promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and awareness of the National Innovation and Start-up Policy (NISP) among faculty members, enabling them to mentor students effectively in innovation-based activities.
Faculty members of the National College of Information Technology (NCIT) actively participated in an online seminar organized by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) under the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell. The seminar focused on fostering an innovation culture in higher educational institutions through structured programs and policy orientation.
The session highlighted:
NCIT faculty members gained valuable insights on integrating innovation into regular teaching, mentoring student-led start-ups, and utilizing IIC platforms for institutional development. They also received guidelines on conducting internal IIC activities and promoting entrepreneurship on campus.
The seminar strengthened NCIT’s commitment to building a vibrant ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship. Faculty members are now better equipped to align academic goals with national initiatives and support student innovators more effectively.
