Objective

To promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and a healthy competitive spirit among students through active participation in sports activities.

Event Overview

On 25th February 2025, NCIT organized an exciting Interdepartmental Cricket Match on the college sports ground. The event aimed to provide students with an opportunity to unwind from academic routines, showcase their athletic talents, and foster unity across departments.

Teams from various departments enthusiastically participated in the tournament. The matches were conducted in a knockout format, with each team displaying excellent sportsmanship, coordination, and team spirit. The crowd cheered for their respective departments, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. Faculty members were also present to support and encourage the students.

Participation

Students from all major departments actively participated in the tournament. Each team consisted of 11 players, along with substitutes and volunteers for organizing and managing the event smoothly.

Outcome

The cricket match strengthened interdepartmental bonds and encouraged students to value discipline, fitness, and teamwork. The winning team was awarded a trophy and certificates were distributed to all participants in recognition of their efforts and enthusiasm.

Conclusion

NCIT continuously strives to promote the overall development of students through a balanced focus on academics and extracurricular activities. The Interdepartmental Cricket Match was a successful and spirited event, adding joy and vibrancy to campus life.
