Objective

The NSS Unit at National College of IT, in collaboration with the NGO Man Se Manas Ke Jaath Sabhe Ek Seva Society, organized a cleanliness drive to promote hygiene, environmental awareness, and community responsibility. The initiative aimed to encourage students and the local community to take active participation in maintaining cleanliness and creating a sustainable, litter-free environment.

Activities Conducted

Campus and Surroundings Cleanup

Volunteers, including students and faculty, participated in cleaning the college campus and nearby areas. Equipped with gloves, brooms, and dustbins, the participants collected plastic waste, litter, and other non-biodegradable materials, ensuring proper disposal and recycling.

Waste Segregation Awareness

A workshop was conducted to educate students on the importance of waste segregation. The participants learned how to separate biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste and the significance of recycling to minimize pollution.

Participation

The event witnessed active participation from 50 students, NSS volunteers, faculty members, and staff. The collective effort and enthusiasm demonstrated a strong commitment to fostering a cleaner and healthier environment.

Leadership

The event was spearheaded by Arman, the President of the NSS Unit, with valuable support from the representatives of Man Se Manas Ke Jaath Sabhe Ek Seva Society. Their leadership ensured smooth execution and encouraged maximum involvement from the community.
