Anti-Ragging Committee


At National College of IT, Muktsar, we are committed to maintaining a ragging-free campus by enforcing strict policies against any form of harassment or misconduct. The Anti-Ragging Committee follows the guidelines of UGC, AICTE, and NAAC to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.

Ragging is a punishable offense under the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009. Our institution follows a zero-tolerance policy and takes immediate action against any such activities.

Objectives of the Anti-Ragging Committee

  • ✔ Raise awareness about the consequences of ragging among students.
  • ✔ Provide a secure platform for students to report incidents without fear.
  • ✔ Conduct inquiries and take strict disciplinary action against offenders.
  • ✔ Ensure compliance with UGC, AICTE, and NAAC guidelines on anti-ragging policies.
